Our bank contracts offer flexibility over the days and hours you work. Tell us when you are available, and we will look to give you shifts that fit. This is a Bank (as and when required) role, meaning shifts will be offered based on service needs. The Role: Cherry Tree Court is set up as a registered care home however provides support for up to 11 individuals in their own one bedroom flats all on minimally 1:1 ratio. The service aims to support individuals to meet personal goals and outcomes within their personalised weekly activity planners and have on site Positive behaviour support to develop proactive plans and support individuals who at times can experience difficulties.
Staff are required to provide support with day to day activities and additionally be involved in support planning and also future planning for individuals while liaising with health and social work colleagues and families. As a Bank Support Practitioner, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support when it’s needed most. You will help ensure consistent support during staff leave, sickness or training. To build trusting relationships with the people we support, we ask that you ideally pick up 2-3 shifts per week.
You will be part of a dedicated and friendly team, supporting individuals with all aspects of daily living including meal preparation, medication, going to appointments and activities, managing personal finances, support with moving and handling and personal care. You’ll also provide emotional support and assist them to maintain relationships with family and friends. Some individuals have complex communication needs and use different communication tools to meet their needs.

- Supporting with meal preparation and medication

- Providing emotional support and helping individuals maintain positive relationships

Shift Patterns: Our service provides 24/7 support. As part of the bank team, you may be offered:
- Early shifts from 7:30am
- Late shifts finishing at 9:30pm or 10pm
- Waking night
- Weekends and public holidays
