Job Description: As an HGV Technician, you'll be instrumental in keeping our fleet safe, compliant, and road-ready. Based in a well-run workshop, you'll deliver high-quality diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs using the latest equipment while working to DVSA and manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on vehicles and trailers using the latest diagnostic tools.
- Service and maintain vehicles and trailers in line with DVSA and manufacturer standards.
- Complete all legal and compliance documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
- Follow best practice when carrying out repairs, component replacements, and final sign-off.
- Conduct Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) to DVSA standards.
- Work collaboratively within a professional workshop team to meet operational targets.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment.
- Comply with all relevant Health & Safety regulations and industry legislation at all times.
Requirements:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Maintenance or equivalent, or demonstrable experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar vehicle maintenance role.
- Diagnostic qualifications and experience are desirable.
- A valid Class 1 licence is desirable; training and support can be provided to obtain this if required.
- Competent in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- For each call out you will receive £20.00 call out charge.
