The Role: Class 2 Driver
As a Class 2 Driver, you will play a key role in safely collecting and delivering liquid sludge across the South West. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out collections and deliveries of liquid sludge throughout the region.
- Navigating a high proportion of rural routes due to the nature of collection locations.
- Planning your routes daily to ensure efficiency and timeliness.
- Maintaining regular communication with the transport team to provide progress updates and support excellent customer service.
- Interacting with customers both face-to-face and over the phone, delivering a professional and positive service experience.
- Attending routine training sessions to maintain and develop your skills.
We're looking for someone who brings
- A valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- A current Driver CPC (DCPC) Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience with vacuum tankers or wastewater (beneficial, but full training will be provided).
- Strong organisational skills and confidence working to deadlines.
- A confident, polite manner and a strong team spirit.
- Good geographical knowledge of the local area.
- A hardworking, self‑motivated attitude suited to the demands of the role.
