The predicted salary is between 101995 - 124661 £ per year.
This is a substantive consultant post to join a team of twenty other Consultants in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The appointee will contribute to the general obstetrics and gynaecology. In addition, they are expected to develop a gynaecology service that meets the need of women ensuring seamless pathways offering one-stop care. They will be working with a multidisciplinary team and creating regional links.
The post holder will contribute to obstetrics with 98-hours consultant presence on the labour ward and general obstetric commitments. This is a new post, established to address the growing needs of the department and the preferred candidate would have skills that complement those of the existing consultant body.
The post holder will work within the multi-disciplinary team providing, and further developing care of patients in the trust. In addition, the individual will be required to play an active role in the general workload of the department while having a significant commitment to supporting the early pregnancy unit.
