We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Garage Manager in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to lead a busy Autocentre within a well-established national network. The Garage Manager position offers a rewarding environment where leadership, customer service, and operational efficiency are highly valued.

- 48-hour working week, Monday to Saturday, with flexible working patterns

Duties include:
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve and exceed branch targets
- Maintain high standards of customer service, representing the company professionally
- Manage daily operations to maximise profitability and efficiency
- Oversee workflow, stock control, and financial transactions ensuring security and accuracy
- Ensure a clean, organised work environment adhering to company standards
- Foster positive relationships with customers to promote repeat business
- Coordinate staff activities and provide support to ensure operational excellence
- Monitor branch performance and implement improvement strategies
Requirements for the role:
- Proven experience as a Garage Manager, Autocentre Manager, or similar leadership role within an automotive or fast-fit environment
- Strong team leadership and effective communication skills
- Customer-focused with excellent service delivery skills
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and workshop management
- Ability to drive sales, improve operational performance, and lead by example
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and determined to succeed
