The predicted salary is between 30332 - 37072 £ per year.

You will be responsible for accurately supporting and checking 'mechanical medical devices' e.g. patient trolleys, medical gas appliances and further low-level equipment but with a view for development. There will also be some need to utilise electronics knowledge. Duties also include generic solutions of medical device management in accordance with the 'Medical Device Management Standard 2015.

The successful applicant will be someone who is fully committed and able to deliver both quality and needs of the service. The department's opening hours are currently Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:30 excluding weekends and bank holidays. This role does involve indirect working with patients.

The EBME Department is looking for an experienced EBME Technician to join their team in the day-to-day maintenance of Medical Equipment at the Hospital and centres where Croydon University Hospital provides care. The post holder will be expected to deliver a high standard of work relating to EBME across its multiple sites.

Our main aim is to provide an efficient and safe service to patients and stakeholders and offer excellent customer care to patients, their families and colleagues that use all our services at our multiple sites across Croydon.
