Here’s how you will assist:

• Assist with the smooth implementation of category plans including range reviews, promotions pricing and stock that are consistent with overall commercial strategy and financial objectives.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to implement buyer-led marketing promotion plans and strategies developed by the buying team which adhere to legislation and brand guidelines.
• Help with the review and evaluation of the effectiveness of promotions.
• Assist with the smooth implementation of new product setup, including checking retail and cost prices.
• Potential to buy your own product category once you’ve settled into the role, which will offer the opportunity for future progression.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Excellent organisational and communication skills: written and verbal.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload.
• Able to work both following process and on own initiative.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• Confident energetic approach.
• Excellent PC skills – Microsoft Office packages especially Excel.
• A passion for developing a career in Buying.
