Here’s how you will assist:
- Assist with the smooth implementation of category plans including range reviews, promotions pricing and stock that are consistent with overall commercial strategy and financial objectives.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to implement buyer-led marketing promotion plans and strategies developed by the buying team which adhere to legislation and brand guidelines.
- Help with the review and evaluation of the effectiveness of promotions.
- Assist with the smooth implementation of new product setup, including checking retail and cost prices.
- Potential to buy your own product category once you’ve settled into the role, which will offer the opportunity for future progression.

What you’ll need to succeed:
- Excellent organisational and communication skills: written and verbal.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload.
- Able to work both following process and on own initiative.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Confident energetic approach.
- Excellent PC skills – Microsoft Office packages especially Excel.
- A passion for developing a career in Buying.
