We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Crane Yard Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe movement, loading, unloading, and preparation of cranes, equipment, and associated components within the yard. This is a hands‑on role requiring excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and coordinate daily yard movements.
- Safely operate a telehandler for lifting and moving equipment and materials.
- Assist with lifting operations involving cranes in accordance with lift plans and company procedures.
- Load and unload cranes, counterweights, and associated equipment from transport vehicles.
- Carry out axle changes and assist with crane mobilisation and demobilisation activities.
- Maintain high standards of yard housekeeping and ensure work areas remain clean, safe, and organised.
- Conduct pre‑use inspections of plant and equipment.
- Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with company health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Work closely with transport, operations, and engineering teams to ensure efficient yard operations.
- Assist with stock control, equipment checks, and general yard duties as required.
