The Role As a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist, you will: Assess, plan and deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people with speech, language and communication needs. Work with other speech and language therapists and speech and language therapy assistants in the team. Work in partnership with parents, carers, education staff and health professionals. Work in a variety of settings across community, education and clinic. Deliver training to support the wider childrens workforce. Maintain accurate clinical records and outcome measures. Participate in service development activities and quality improvement projects. Support less experienced colleagues, providing clinical supervision and mentoring. Have service wide responsibilities. About You We are looking for someone who: Holds a recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy. Is registered with the HCPC. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Is enthusiastic, compassionate and committed to achieving the best outcomes for children and young people. Values collaborative working and is keen to learn and develop professionally.
