Clinical Systems Support Lead | University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust

This is a key support post within the Clinical Systems Team.

The post holder will be responsible for assisting the EPR Workflow Lead specifically in relation to supporting those systems under the remit of the Clinical Systems Team.

  • Management and creation of EPR accounts and related applications
  • Provide Line management and support to the EPR System Support Analysts
  • Providing timely and accurate access to systems
  • Developing and maintaining key documentation to support processes
  • Provide basic management cover for other ICT systems
  • Help to support 24/7 services within the Trusts working independently on-call
  • To provide a comprehensive support service to users of the systems managed.
  • Liaise with external users of the systems managed, providing support and advice as required, liaising with third party providers where appropriate.
  • Responsible for completing supplier design documentation e. g., Data Collection Workbooks to a high degree of accuracy.
  • To assist in the development of policies and procedures in relation to the systems managed.
  • To undertake periodic audits of data e. g., to ensure compliance with the NHS Data Manual. This will include (but will not relate exclusively) to master files.
  • Undertake testing of new releases
  • Create and manage accounts for new users.
  • Deactivate accounts and user access for leavers
  • Management of appropriate Data Collection Workbooks
  • Providing a support service to users of systems
