• As a Slicing production operative, you will
- The Slicing Operative role is a key role within the site ensuring the product is sliced and prepared for packing using high-speed slicing machinery that portions cooked or cured meats.
- Machine Setup & Operation
- : Loading bulk products into high-speed slicing machines and setting precise thickness and weight configurations.
Portion & Quality Control
- Constantly checking sliced packs to ensure correct weight, appearance, and shingle pattern before they hit the packaging line.
- : Monitoring the machinery to reduce product giveaway (overweight packs).
- Operating in high-care, chilled environments, requiring strict personal sanitisation to prevent contamination of ready-to-eat foods.
