CIS Security have an exciting opportunity available for a Corporate Security Officer to join our team at a prestigious, high-profile site just minutes from Old Street. This stunning 16-storey, 237,000 sq ft development features a dynamic mix of offices, retail spaces, residential units, and a newly created public square.

Position: Corporate Security Officer

Location: London (EC1Y)

Pay Rate: £14.80 per hour

Hours: 60 hours per week

Shifts: Monday to Friday - 0700 to 1900

Job Requirements:

  • SIA licence required
  • Experience in high end corporate front of house, corporate security, or concierge services
  • Must be flexible and have the flexibility to change shifts due to operational needs
  • IT Literate - Basic understanding of access control systems and IT systems/programmes i.e., Microsoft Office for emails
  • Ideally to understand a visitor management system
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service
  • Must have an excellent command of English Language
  • Reliable, Responsible and Punctual
  • A friendly, professional, courteous, and outgoing character
  • To always take pride in your appearance, ensuring immaculate presentation
  • Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site
  • Be confident you can undertake 100% of all specific duties
  • Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meeting and greeting in reception, providing a warm 5-star greeting, ensuring all receive VIP treatment.
  • Front of House staff needed to be part of the team that is the face of the companies we represent.
  • To ensure guests and visitors are given an excellent standard of greeting and care whilst in the building.
  • To ensure that all business needs are met, and that the company’s reputation is enhanced through the provision of exemplary reception, bookings, and concierge services.
  • To be articulate and well informed and to ensure that customers and visitors’ needs are pre-empted, met, and exceeded.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently and ensure that an exceptional high standard of customer service is always provided, personally taking responsibility for their requests to ensure that they are completed, if not exceeding, their expectations.
  • The role includes you to meet and greet customers, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, conducting emergency procedures, providing a warm 5-star greeting, ensuring customers receive VIP treatment.
  • To be the main point of contact within the building to all residents, catering to all requests and queries in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • To be responsible for the efficient running of reception, concierge or bookings desks with the professionalism and knowledge required for each location.
  • To communicate regularly with any new and important issues that may arise.
  • To efficiently report any maintenance, IT or Health & Safety concerns to the relevant departments.
  • To actively complete all departmental check lists ensuring quality of service and standards pertaining to the presentation and maintenance of meeting rooms and public areas.
  • To embrace our vision by working outside the box and clearing rooms, assisting in catering services as required and ensuring an all-round 5* service.
  • To always ensure great teamwork both within and outside the department, always demonstrating a can do approach and solutions.
  • To maintain and actively utilise a portfolio of information to assist with customer queries such as transport, restaurants, and shops.
  • Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations.
  • To always portray a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.
  • To be responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of your allocated area including filing and next shift preparation.
  • To assist in any other reasonable duties as required.
