This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality Maths education and support students in developing the knowledge and skills required for further study and employment.

Hours: Full-time - 37 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across the relevant curriculum.
- Plan and deliver lessons, learning activities and assessments in line with curriculum requirements.
- Deliver
GCSE Maths, Functional Skills Maths and other relevant Maths programmes.
- Support students with their academic development and progression.
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress.
- Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Use engaging teaching methods to develop students' mathematical knowledge and confidence.
- Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team.
- Support students in developing the skills required for further study and employment.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience teaching
Maths within an FE or Sixth Form setting.
- Strong subject knowledge across Maths and related areas.
- A recognised teaching qualification.
Mathematics, Maths Education or a relevant subject.
- Experience delivering GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths.
- Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate learners.
- A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve strong academic and career outcomes.
