As an Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer your role & responsibilities will be:

  • Part of a small close-knit team of X4 engineers
  • Carry out planned maintenance, reactive fault finding, breakdowns, CI projects
  • Electrical & mechanical fault finding & repairs
  • Working on various industrial processing equipment, food production machinery, packaging machinery, conveyors, instrumentation, automation & controls
  • Ordering spares & parts, via CMMS, contractor control - RAMS, Permits to Work
  • PLC's, HMi's, DCS & SCADA Systems - electrical fault finding

Knowledge, skills & experience required for an Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer:

  • Must have completed a time-served apprenticeship NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering as minimum
  • Must have worked in manufacturing previously
  • Electrical & mechanical fault finding & problem solving skills
  • Comfortable working unsupervised on night shift
  • PLC, HMi, SCADA Systems - electrical fault finding capabilities
  • Able to use CMMS to order own spares & parts
  • Familiar with instrumentation - beneficial
