As an Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer your role & responsibilities will be:
- Part of a small close-knit team of X4 engineers
- Carry out planned maintenance, reactive fault finding, breakdowns, CI projects
- Electrical & mechanical fault finding & repairs
- Working on various industrial processing equipment, food production machinery, packaging machinery, conveyors, instrumentation, automation & controls
- Ordering spares & parts, via CMMS, contractor control - RAMS, Permits to Work
- PLC's, HMi's, DCS & SCADA Systems - electrical fault finding
Knowledge, skills & experience required for an Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer:
- Must have completed a time-served apprenticeship NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering as minimum
- Must have worked in manufacturing previously
- Electrical & mechanical fault finding & problem solving skills
- Comfortable working unsupervised on night shift
- PLC, HMi, SCADA Systems - electrical fault finding capabilities
- Able to use CMMS to order own spares & parts
- Familiar with instrumentation - beneficial
