The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Machine Setter on behalf of our well-established manufacturing client based in Corby. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stable, full-time hours and excellent long-term career prospects within a growing production environment.

About the Role

  • Delivering machine utilisation efficiencies across allocated production lines in line with company targets.
  • Achieving material efficiency targets and minimising waste.
  • Performing all duties to the required standards and within expected timescales.
  • Maintaining high quality standards throughout the production process.
  • Caring for and helping maintain tools, tooling and production equipment.
  • Following all company policies, procedures, work instructions and operating standards.
  • Completing accurate production and performance records each shift.
  • Demonstrating flexibility to help cover production requirements and vacant shifts where needed.
  • Undertaking training as required to support business needs and personal development.
  • Communicating effectively and working collaboratively with colleagues across the business.

42 hours per week. Full-time hours. Overtime may be available depending on business requirements. Pay £13.96 per hour. Weekly PAYE pay.

  • Previous experience as a Machine Setter or within a manufacturing/production environment preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
