Parabellum Security Services is recruiting experienced Level 2 general purpose security dog handlers to join our canine team covering sites in and around Corby and thurligh in bedfordshire.
Role summary
You will work as a licensed handler with your own general purpose security dog, providing a visible deterrent presence across large open commercial and vehicle storage sites. The role is predominantly night work on 12-hour shifts, with responsibility for perimeter and internal patrols, access control, challenging unauthorised persons, and the accurate reporting of all incidents and site issues.
You will be expected to work to a defined patrol schedule, complete check calls and NFC patrol verification points on time, and submit clear, timely written reports at the end of every shift. Dog welfare, kennelling standards and vehicle presentation are your responsibility and are subject to spot audit.
In addition to an hourly rate, there are separate payments in relation to the use of your vehicle, dog, and training costs.
Hourly rate of £15 per hour plus, depending on experience
