Due to a site relocation, our client based in
Kettering is urgently seeking an experienced
Reach & Counterbalance Truck Driver to support their logistics team during a busy transition period. Working as part of a dedicated warehouse team, you will play a key role in ensuring stock is moved safely and efficiently while meeting operational deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Reach Trucks within narrow warehouse aisles to lift, store and retrieve pallets at height.
- Move stock accurately to designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and select goods against customer order sheets, often using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Rf Scanner
- Assist with the loading, unloading and movement of stock throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and warehouse organisation.
- Work to daily schedules and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Support other warehouse team members as required.
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have previous experience operating Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Trucks.
- Hold a valid
external Reach and Counterbalance licence.
- Possess a good understanding of warehouse operations and health & safety practices.
- Be reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Have strong communication skills and a flexible approach to work.
- Hold a valid PPT licence (advantageous but not essential).
Full training and one-to-one support will be provided to help you become familiar with the company's systems and procedures.
This role would be ideal for candidates with experience as an
FLT Driver, Forklift Driver, Reach Truck Driver, Counterbalance Driver, Warehouse Operative with FLT duties, or Forklift Operator.
