Salary: £27,479 per annum

Hours: 35 hours per week

We are looking for a Resettlement & Outreach Officer to deliver high-quality, person-centred, and trauma-informed housing support services to individuals facing homelessness.

About the Role

As part of our Outreach and Resettlement Service, you will be responsible for interacting with street homeless people and rough sleepers, helping them transition into permanent accommodation, improve their physical and mental health, and engage in positive economic activity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing housing advice and support to homeless individuals, signposting them to relevant services and agencies.
  • Recording client journeys, maintaining accurate records, and developing support plans that assist clients in maintaining independent living.
  • Engaging with statutory and voluntary agencies, attending meetings and coordinating support to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Advocating on behalf of clients, liaising with agencies, and providing intensive support to ensure successful resettlement.

About You

We’re looking for professional individuals who put customers at the heart of everything they do. Either have the ability to hold at least basic conversations in Welsh (although you may struggle to keep up fully) or be currently learning / willing to learn Welsh.

Experience of working in a client‑centred environment, supporting individuals with their personal and housing needs.

Demonstrable experience in housing management or support services, particularly for vulnerable individuals.

Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently to deadlines.

A positive, can‑do attitude with a passion for helping people.

Full UK driving licence with access to own transport (with business insurance).
