Your new role
You will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects across multiple sites throughout England, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements whilst maintaining strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day delivery of multiple projects
- Overseeing project programmes and ensuring key milestones are achieved
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitoring health, safety, quality and environmental compliance
- Reviewing project progress and resolving delivery challenges
- Supporting commercial and operational performance across projects
- Managing project documentation, reporting and site records
- Ensuring works are delivered on time and within budget
- Travelling nationally to support projects as required
This role offers the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of highways projects as part of a growing workload and long-term programme of work.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience within the highways sector
- Strong understanding of highways construction and maintenance works
- Comfortable travelling nationally for project requirements
- Proven client-facing and operational management experience
- Experience managing site activities, programmes and project documentation
- CSCS Card as a minimum requirement
- SSSTS
- SMSTS
- VRS experience is beneficial but not essential as specialist training can be provided
