A leading global manufacturer within a specialist market sector are looking to recruit an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join their Bristol operation.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of site-wide improvement programmes, champion Lean methodologies, and work closely with senior leadership to deliver sustainable operational improvements within a complex manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will enjoy significant autonomy and the chance to make a genuine impact on business performance.

The Role

  • Lead operational improvement and business transformation initiatives to increase efficiency, quality, and performance of the departments.
  • Implement lean processes, governance, and continuous improvement practices across the organisation.
  • Partner with senior leaders to drive change, improve collaboration, and deliver measurable business results.
  • Coach teams to build a high-performance, process-driven culture.
  • Partner with senior leaders to shape operating models, resource requirements, capability development and business priorities.
  • Improve the quality of operational documents, such as work instructions and SOP's.

What we are looking for

  • Degree educated in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations or Industrial engineering - Desirable
  • Proven experience in an CI / operational excellence / business transformation role.
  • Good record of improving performance across complex/ product based businesses.
  • Strong understanding of operational excellence methods.
  • Experience operating at a strategic level.
