Enfield Council's Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES) is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Community Equipment Officer to support the delivery of essential community equipment to residents across Enfield and neighbouring boroughs.
This varied role involves coordinating equipment provision, undertaking equipment assessments, supporting service users and health professionals, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring equipment is delivered, collected and managed efficiently.
Working closely with Occupational Therapists, health colleagues, care providers and service users, you will play a key role in helping people maintain their independence, safety and wellbeing within their own homes.

We are looking for an organised, flexible and proactive individual with experience of working in health, social care, community equipment services or a customer-focused environment.
You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
The successful candidate will be confident using IT systems, managing competing priorities and working both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of community equipment, moving and handling equipment, or working with vulnerable adults would be advantageous, although training will be provided for the right candidate.
A practical, solution-focused approach and a commitment to improving outcomes for residents are essential.
