Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced and dedicated Communal Cleaner to assist in the delivery of high-quality cleaning services at an Extra Care Facility in Hull. You will be joining our Total FM Cleaning Team based at Harrison Park HU6.

Our Total Facilities Management team delivers integrated asset management and maintenance services across education, leisure, corporate, health and residential sectors. We focus on keeping facilities running smoothly, safely, and efficiently – helping our clients create spaces that work for everyone.

As our Cleaner, you will work closely with the site teams and the Facilities Manager to ensure all planned and reactive cleaning tasks are completed within required timescales. This is to ensure a welcoming environment for all residents, staff, and visitors to a high standard throughout the units.

This will be a Permanent Role of 12 hours, working 4 days per week on a 3hr shift from 9am – 12pm on a 2-week set rota which includes the following days: Week 1 Monday / Tuesday / Saturday & Sunday.

Duties & Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily, periodic and deep-cleaning tasks across the site, ensuring all work meets the required standards.
  • Operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely, reporting any faults immediately and ensuring items are maintained to a required standard.
  • Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and consumables and report low stock levels, where required.
  • Work in line with all statutory requirements, including COSHH and Manual Handling.
  • Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests and rectify as required within contractual timescales.
  • Flexibility to cover colleagues' absence due to annual leave and sickness, which may include weekends and Bank Holidays.

Key requirements will include:

  • Good knowledge and experience, and attention to detail in cleaning services and cleaning equipment, including knowledge of COSHH, Health & Safety and Manual Handling.
  • Flexible and adaptable in approach.
  • Good communication skills when interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Please Note: Confirmation of appointment will be subject to completion of a satisfactory Basic DBS check.
