We are currently recruiting for the position of Commercial Vehicle Driver on behalf of our client based in Exeter, Devon. This is an exceptional opportunity for skilled and experienced drivers seeking to develop their career within a professional automotive environment. The successful individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient collection and delivery of vehicles, supporting the workshop’s operational needs.

Salary: Competitive basic salary up to £30,000 per annum. Potential to achieve an On Target Earnings (OTE) of £30,000.

Duties of a Commercial Vehicle Driver:

  • Collecting and delivering HGV and LCV vehicles to and from the workshop and client locations in Exeter and surrounding areas
  • Handling all vehicles with care, following health and safety regulations
  • Maintaining accurate logs of collections and deliveries as a Commercial Vehicle Collection and Delivery Driver
  • Conducting vehicle inspections before and after transportation
  • Coordinating with workshop staff and management to ensure timely operations
  • Ensuring adherence to all UK road safety standards during transportation

Requirements of a Commercial Vehicle Driver:

  • Valid HGV or LCV driving licence
  • Proven experience as an HGV or LCV driver, ideally within a workshop, fleet, or logistics environment
  • Good knowledge of UK road regulations and safety standards
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
