Are you a time-served engineer with strong electrical fault-finding skills and a solid mechanical background? We're hiring a
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment and play a key role in keeping production running safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on engineering role covering both planned and reactive maintenance, with a strong focus on electrical fault finding, equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing:
You will be responsible for maintaining and improving manufacturing equipment, responding to breakdowns and minimising production downtime. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site
- Diagnosing and repairing equipment faults, with a strong focus on electrical fault finding
- Supporting and improving the PPM programme
- Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
- Carrying out electrical maintenance, including sensors, calibration, low-voltage repairs and fault tracing
- Safely isolating and reconnecting equipment and completing breaker resets
- Supporting mechanical maintenance as part of a multi-skilled engineering team
- Contributing to equipment upgrades, engineering projects and continuous improvement
- Maintaining accurate engineering records and completing effective shift handovers
- Using the maintenance management system to manage engineering parts and maintenance activities
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site requirements

What We're Looking For:
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship and time-served engineering background
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic experience
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Competent across both electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
