Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex transformation and change programmes across Children's Services and SEND.
  • Develop transformation strategies and convert strategic priorities into deliverable programme plans.
  • Support the design and implementation of new service models and operating models.
  • Lead service redesign initiatives across early help, statutory social care, commissioning and placements.
  • Produce robust business cases supported by evidence, benefits analysis and financial modelling.
  • Work closely with finance teams to identify savings opportunities and monitor benefits realisation.
  • Manage programme governance, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans using MS Project.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing constructive challenge and support.
  • Produce high-quality reports and presentations for senior leadership, boards and governance groups.
  • Drive implementation and ensure programme benefits are realised while maintaining safeguarding standards and service quality.
  • Support workforce transformation initiatives and reduce reliance on agency staffing and high-cost provision.
