My client is an established manufacturing company who are expanding and extending their manufacturing facility.
They are looking for a proven CNC machinist to join their team and carry out setting and operating of CNC machines performing milling and turning.
Responsibilities
- Experience of Milling and Turning, including: - HAAS and Hurco 3 axis milling.
- Doosan Turning and Mill-Turn machines with live tooling and sub spindle capability.
- Degree of hands on when required to prepare and operate CNC machines to perform milling and turning activities.
- Understand specifications, drawings and 3D models and able to support quotation analysis in securing new business.
- Ability to develop machining programs and tooling to produce complex parts and new designs using One CNC.
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
- Workload planning and team management to meet agreed schedules.
- Material control including completion of works orders and use of computer system to report progress and job completion.
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality and well maintained.
- Report and manage resolution of any machine malfunctions.
The successful candidate will have proven skills and experience gained in this type of role.
