We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Bristol for 2 CNC Operators to join their production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous CNC machine operating experience who is looking to join a stable business offering long-term career prospects, training and development opportunities.

The role involves operating CNC milling machinery to manufacture aluminium components while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and traceability.

The Role

Working as part of a busy manufacturing team, you'll be responsible for operating CNC machinery, carrying out quality checks and ensuring production requirements are met safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating CNC milling machines
  • Loading materials and components into CNC machinery
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Producing components to drawing specifications
  • Carrying out quality inspections using measuring equipment
  • Ensuring part conformity and maintaining material traceability
  • Reporting equipment issues to Engineering and Quality teams
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities within the machining department
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Previous CNC machine operating experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometres and gauges
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment
  • Experience with Haas, Mazak or Hurco machines, although we will consider all CNC experience.
  • Experience machining aluminium
  • Experience creating fixtures and clamping arrangements

• Rotating weekly shift pattern
