We’re looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our Night shift team in Clitheroe. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll play an important part in keeping our production operation running smoothly – from receiving deliveries and preparing materials for production to despatching finished goods.
Working Hours: 18:00 – 06:00, Fortnightly rotating shift pattern:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Pay: Between £14.96 and £16.27 per hour
What You'll Be Doing:
- Receiving, loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
- Checking incoming goods and storing stock correctly, following FIFO and food safety procedures
- Picking and preparing materials for the next day’s production
- Using our Warehouse Management System (M3 / Factory Track) to book deliveries, make stock adjustments and manage stock movements
- Completing quality checks and maintaining accurate documentation and traceability
- Working with delivery drivers and helping to resolve delivery queries
- Carrying out start-up safety checks on forklifts and other equipment
- Keeping warehouse, storage and external areas clean, safe and organised
- Following our food safety, allergen control, hygiene, GMP and Health & Safety procedures
- Helping us minimise waste and meet our environmental responsibilities
- Working towards warehouse KPIs and team targets
- Supporting colleagues across the operation when an extra pair of hands is needed
What we’re looking for:
- Reliable, motivated and happy to work as part of a team
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment
- Experience within food manufacturing
- Forklift Truck (FLT) and/or other MHE certification
- Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene
- Hygiene and chemical awareness
- Good numerical and basic computer skills
- A good eye for detail and accuracy
- The ability to prioritise and stay organised in a busy environment
