We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join a well-established client based in Clitheroe. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for consistent weekday work, with potential weekend shifts available.
The Role
- Monday to Friday (with potential weekend work)
- Finish time: Approximately 16:00
- Delivering palletised packs of cement (approximately 19 pallets per load)
- Safe, timely and professional deliveries to customers
- Maintaining high standards of driving, compliance and customer service
- £16.50 per hour
- Minimum 8 hours pay guaranteed per shift
- Overtime opportunities available (including weekends)
- Ongoing, regular work with a reputable client
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong understanding of driver hours and transport regulations
- Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
Assessment
A driving assessment will be required prior to starting. This will be paid following completion of your first full shift.
