We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Support Worker to join our dedicated and dynamic Respiratory team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals with a wide range of respiratory needs.

In this role, you will work closely alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care, supporting both the physical and emotional wellbeing of our patients. Your contribution will be key in ensuring every patient receives personalised care that maintains their dignity, comfort, and safety throughout their journey.

Our Respiratory Support Unit (RSU) is a specialised 24-bed unit caring for patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions, including those requiring respiratory support or airway management. The unit is a fast-paced yet highly rewarding environment, where teamwork, professionalism, and a shared commitment to excellence underpin everything we do.

You will be joining a supportive and forward-thinking team who are passionate about making a meaningful difference to patients’ lives. If you are motivated, caring, and eager to develop your skills within a specialised area, we would love to hear from you.

Take the next step in your career and become a valued member of our Respiratory team.

Please see the job description for full details of the main responsibilities and person specification.

We are an award-winning NHS Foundation Trust working alongside health and social care colleagues across the county to provide acute and community healthcare services to more than 420,000 people across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood, and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.

We put the patient at the heart of everything that we do and it is our aim to make sure that every patient is treated as we would want a member of our own family to be treated. At the same time, we expect our staff to be caring, kind and courteous to each other and to look out for each other. We believe that we are truly a clinically-led organisation.

We are proud that our Trust colleagues have voted us the best acute Trust to work for in the East Midlands for seven years running in the National NHS Staff Survey, while the Care Quality Commission has rated our Trust as ‘outstanding’ for care and our King’s Mill Hospital as the only ‘outstanding’ NHS-run hospital in the East Midlands.
