Central London Community Health Care Trust (CLCH) has exciting opportunities for passionate and committed Clinical Support Workers to join us in Merton. We are looking for candidates with excellent clinical and communication skills to join our 0-19 teams contributing to the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme. You will help make a tangible difference to people’s lives and enjoy the best that London has to offer on your doorstep.

Our annual staff awards celebrate the outstanding contributions made by our staff. The School Nursing service comprises a large skill mix team, structured to deliver core and targeted health input through the Healthy Child Programme to all school-aged children and their families. Car drivers are desirable but not essential. This is a FIXED TERM, term-time only role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical support to the school health team, undertaking duties as delegated by the Team Lead/School Nurse, in support of the delivery of commissioned school health service.
  • Contributing and participating in the delivery of the health promotion programme and National Childhood Measurement Programme (NCMP) for the school health service in line with the Healthy Child Programme and local service specifications.
  • Contributing to the delivery of Working Together to Safeguard Children (2018), including improving health and life chances for children and families and safeguarding those at risk.
  • Delivering the role in accordance with CLCH Trust values and behaviours.
