An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurseto join the supportive team within the CLCH Academy.
The post holder will support the delivery of high-quality multiprofessional clinical placements across CLCH.
This role is well suited to a nurse with experience or a strong interest in education, workforce development, and enhancing the student learning experience.
The successful candidate will coordinate and support the quality assurance of clinical placements across the Trust, helping to ensure high standards of learning, supervision, and student support.
Working collaboratively with placement teams, academy leads, Approved Education Institutions (AEIs), clinical teams, Practice Assessors, Practice Supervisors and Practice Educators, the post holder will help ensure that placements meet regulatory and educational requirements.
The role will also support the development of interprofessional learning opportunities and patient pathway placements across sectors, ensuring alignment with the Neighbourhood Health approach.
- Coordinate and manage clinical placement allocations across the Trust in partnership with the Clinical Placement Facilitator.
- Support the delivery of clinical placements that meet regulatory and educational requirements and provide high-quality learning environments.
- Act as a key point of contact between the Trust, AEIs, placement providers, students and other stakeholders.
- Support the development of interprofessional learning opportunities and patient pathway placements across sectors, aligned to the Neighbourhood Health approach.
- Monitor student placement capacity and identify current and future placement requirements across the Trust.
- Organise, support and evaluate student induction programmes, and gather and report on placement feedback.
- Support students in raising concerns and assist staff in developing new learning opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with clinical staff and AEIs to identify and address practice learning issues.
- Manage and maintain learning resources for nursing and Allied Health Professional (AHP) students.
- Maintain and monitor the SSSA and AHP Practice Educator registers.
- Support Practice Assessor capacity and elevate complex student situations when required.
- Represent the Trust at Higher Education Institution (HEI) placement meetings and provide reports and updates to senior leaders.
