The Job:
We are recruiting for an experienced Climber / Arborist to join a growing arboricultural team in the New Forest. This is a varied role covering domestic, commercial and public sector work, including tree maintenance, pruning, dismantling and site clearance.
- Carry out pruning, sectional dismantling, felling and crown management
- Undertake aerial tree work safely and efficiently
- Operate and maintain arboricultural equipment and machinery
- Assist with site setup, risk assessments and traffic management
- Work closely with ground staff to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and health & safety

The Candidate
- Minimum 2 years' arboricultural experience
- Relevant arboricultural qualifications, ideally up to CS39
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong climbing and aerial tree work experience
- Good understanding of health & safety and industry best practice
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Trailer licence, First Aid, MEWP, woodchipper or stump grinder experience would be advantageous

Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
