Client Accounts Manager (ACA / ACCA Qualified)
Elite Personnel are working on behalf of an established professional services firm to recruit an experienced Client Accounts Manager.
This is a senior role offering the opportunity to take responsibility for the delivery and quality of accounts and tax work across a diverse client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and review of statutory accounts and tax compliance work across the client portfolio.
- Provide guidance on technical queries and act as the senior point of contact for complex matters.
- Ensure all deliverables meet internal quality standards prior to final sign-off.
- Maintain clear documentation and review notes to support compliance and quality assurance.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, mentoring, and guidance to the accounts and tax team.
- Allocate work effectively to balance workloads and meet key deadlines.
- Support ongoing development of team members through constructive feedback and coaching.
- Promote a professional, organised, and accountable team culture.
- Liaise with clients to obtain required financial information and respond to general queries.
- Monitor progress of assignments and ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Assist with improving internal processes, templates, and operational efficiencies.
- What We’re Looking For
- ACA or ACCA qualification
- A minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge across accounts and tax compliance
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive and detail-focused approach
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment with significant responsibility
