Role Purpose: To carry out cleaning operations of Homes in Somerset run accommodations and halls.
Accountabilities:
- Corporate Responsibilities: Understand, uphold, and promote the aims of the council’s equality, diversity, and inclusion policies; health, safety and wellbeing of self and others; and Organisational values in everything you do. Equality and Diversity practice covers both interaction with staff, service users and communities and includes challenging discrimination and promoting equality of opportunity for all.
- Work as part of a building cleaning team: To work as part of a team, and on own initiative to coordinate the cleaning operations across Homes in Somerset accommodations and halls to the specification set by the Supervisor.
- To carry out quality cleaning tasks: To conduct all cleaning functions to the standard and specification as set out by the Cleaning Supervisor. Work in a polite and helpful manner, consulting with colleagues, staff, and visitors.
- Manual handling duties: Such as removal of rubbish and recycling, vacuuming, dusting. Cleaning of Kitchen areas and Toilets to a high standard.
