The predicted salary is between 14.4 - 17.6 £ per hour.

Experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Tipper Driver required for a busy family-owned company based in Houghton Le Spring for delivering quarried materials, clay, demolition waste etc.

  • Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the start and end of the shift, completing and submitting the required daily defect sheet.
  • Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately.
  • General cleanliness of allocated vehicle.
  • Attend site inductions and training as required.
  • Comply with all in-house regulations and rules.
  • MUST have a minimum of 1 year experience with Tipper bodies.
  • MUST have valid Cat C on driving licence (minimum 2 years experience).
  • Have no more than 6 penalty points and have no CD, DD, TT, IN or DR codes for insurance purposes.
  • MUST have valid Driver CPC & Digital Driver cards.
  • MUST have good knowledge of North East area.
  • (MPQC Driver Skills Card (formerly known as EPIC) preferred but not essential. Training can be arranged for the right candidate.)
