Hours of work: 40 Hours Per Week - Hybrid 3 days per week onsite
The Role:
You will be involved in the wide ranging activities undertaken by our site based teams, which will include working closely with other engineers, BIM Coordinator, BIM manager, chief draftsman, project managers and multi-disciplinary teams to define solutions.
Main Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Modifying reinforced concrete or steel structure designs compliant with the ETC-C or other relevant codes Eurocodes and project methodology.
- Checking and coordinating the detailing activities with CAD designers or other engineers in preparation of 3D BIM rebar model and/or 2D drawings of reinforced concrete or steel structures.
- Managing engineering changes in line with company/project procedures and QA process.
- In charge of the assessment and the response to Field Changes Requests, Field Information requests or Site Non Conformance coming from the civil works contractors.
- Liase with other stakeholders, site engineering teams or construction teams for clarification on the site requests.
- Liase with Back Offices which are overseas, regarding package or for closing out of design package issues.
- Technical review and acceptance of contractor deliverables, Site Walkdowns and inspections.
Experience/Qualifications:
- All candidates MUST be Degree or Masters qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering or other relevant discipline.
- You will have working knowledge of the detailed design phases and how this is transitioned to the construction phase.
- You will have previous experience of the nuclear industry sector or other highly regulated industry sectors.
