A wonderful opportunity has come up for an experienced, energetic, and capable Housekeeper to join a beautiful four-storey home in Belgravia, London, for a temporary summer placement. This is a prestigious address, and the successful candidates will work alongside an established household team, including a Chauffeur, Housekeeper and a private Chef. The two Housekeepers will work in rotation, keeping the home to a very high standard. Extra care will be needed ahead of house guests arriving from mid-August, who will be staying for around two weeks.
The principal is a discerning employer who values calm, capable people who don't need much guidance — this role suits confident, self-sufficient candidates who take real pride in keeping a home immaculate without being closely supervised. This is initially a two to three month temporary placement, with a strong chance of extension depending on the household's needs going forward. The successful candidates will work on a self-employed basis, in rotating morning or afternoon shifts.

The Duties:
- Keeping the entire four-storey home spotless and beautifully presented, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, reception rooms, and shared spaces
- Working with confidence and independence, taking initiative without needing much training or oversight
- Providing full silver service and taking specialist care of delicate surfaces and formal table settings
- Managing the full wardrobe and garment care process — sorting, hand-washing, and complete garment upkeep, going well beyond simple packing and unpacking
- Getting the property ready to a flawless standard ahead of guests arriving from mid-August
- Working closely and in rotation with a second Housekeeper to ensure the household is covered every day
- Communicating professionally with the wider household team, including the Chauffeur and Chef
- Staying discreet, calm, and unobtrusive at all times within the household
Minimal Requirements:
- Solid experience as a Housekeeper within formal, high-end private homes
- Confident working independently with little supervision, right from day one
- Two strong, verifiable references from previous private household employers
- Good spoken and written English; Tagalog is a strong advantage
- Legal right to work in the UK
- DBS check
- Physically fit and energetic, able to work comfortably across a multi-storey property with high ceilings
