We require someone to work Monday and Tuesday 12:30 to 20:30, and Thursday and Friday mornings 09:00 to 12:00. The daytime hours can be negotiated if necessary.
Cirencester College are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Learning Support Worker to join our friendly, supportive team. As a member of the support staff, you would play a pivotal role in helping our post 16 and adult learners to achieve in their Functional Skills English and Maths classes.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable and highly motivated with strong communication and teamwork skills. This is an ideal opportunity for a person keen to gain some experience of working with a diverse range of students in a growing educational establishment. This role is a part-time, permanent term-time only role. We specifically need someone to work Monday and Tuesday evening, however, the daytime hours can be negotiable. We will provide a supportive induction and training package, as well as hands on experience shadowing members of the current team.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a good level of general education, including GCSE English and Maths Grade 4 / C or above, and who would be confident supporting in both areas.
- Has a positive interest in supporting both 16-19 college students, and adults with a range of additional needs.
- Is an efficient user of computer systems, including Teams and Outlook.
