MSS Infrastructure Ltd are looking for experienced Tunnel Segment Installers for a major infrastructure project. This is a specialist role involving the installation and positioning of precast concrete tunnel segments within a fast-paced civil engineering environment. We are looking for candidates with lifting operations experience, precast concrete knowledge, and a strong commitment to health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and erection of precast concrete tunnel segments
- Carrying out slinging and signalling duties during lifting operations
- Assisting with the safe movement and positioning of precast concrete units
- Working safely at height using MEWPs and fall protection equipment
- Following lift plans, RAMS, and site procedures
- Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and quality
Requirements:
- IPAF Licence
- Harness Training
- Level 2 NVQ Erection of Precast Concrete (Structural)
- Previous experience working with precast concrete
- Experience on major construction, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects
- On-Site Experience
- Previous tunnel or structural precast installation experience
- Reliable and safety-conscious operatives
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working around lifting operations
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Commitment to delivering work safely and to a high standard
