About the role
Support Workers to work across five supported living services in the Chippenham area, supporting 12 adults aged from their 20s to their 70s with autism and learning disabilities. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in different environments. Rather than working in one fixed service, you’ll support people across multiple nearby locations, helping ensure high-quality, person-centred support is delivered wherever it’s needed.
The people we support live predominately independent lives within supported living settings and enjoy being active members of their local communities. Support may include:
- Personal care and daily living support
- Medication administration
- Meal preparation and healthy routines
- Supporting communication and independence
- Community activities and appointments
- Hoist and mobility support
- Supporting people at home and in the community
As services have varying needs, you’ll need to be comfortable adapting your approach and supporting a wide range of individuals and routines.
Shifts
A full range of shifts are available, including:
- Early shifts
- Late shifts
- 24-hour shifts including sleep-ins
- Sleep-in shifts (£50 paid to sleep)
Flexibility is essential, as you’ll be supporting across multiple services and will need to adapt to different environments, teams and individual support needs.
