This role is to support a woman in her 50's in long-term recovery from a car crash and negotiating life with injuries including brain injury which causes hypersensitivity, fatigue, pain etc. She loves the outdoors and nature and enjoys reading and crafting.
I am looking for a PA to provide assistance in supporting independence and accessing the local community. No personal care needed.
Generally, but not exclusively, help is needed with:
- Transport
- Shopping
- Domestic cleaning
Flexibility is important so that the right applicant can assist with getting to appointments, visits with friends etc. Some sounds and light may be difficult and some situations overwhelming, so someone who is forward thinking would be good.
I am looking for a calm, kind and patient assistant to assist for approximately 8 daylight hours a month. A confident careful driver with access to their own vehicle is essential. A larger vehicle, like a people carrier or SUV, would be ideal as I have a very well-behaved medium-sized dog who will need to come with me on some journeys.
