An established residential developer is looking to strengthen an experienced site team with an Assistant Site Manager for a busy, fast-paced development near Chichester. You'll be joining a well-established management team where standards are high, the programme is moving quickly and there is a genuine focus on delivering quality homes and a first-class customer experience.
Working closely with the Site Manager and wider project team, you'll have responsibility across your plots and subcontractors, helping to keep the build moving while ensuring quality, safety and programme remain where they need to be. You'll be responsible for:
- Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the development.
- Managing subcontractors and maintaining progress against programme.
- Monitoring build quality and ensuring NHBC standards are consistently achieved.
- Carrying out inspections and ensuring works are completed to the required standard.
- Maintaining excellent health and safety standards across the site.
- Working closely with Customer Care to ensure a high standard of finish and customer experience.
- Coordinating with the wider commercial, technical and construction teams.
- Helping to maintain an organised, efficient and positive site environment.
We're looking for someone who:
- Must have previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential construction.
- Has a strong understanding of NHBC standards and quality-led housebuilding.
- Takes pride in delivering homes to a high standard.
- Has excellent customer care awareness and understands the importance of the homeowner experience.
- Confident managing subcontractors and working to demanding programmes.
- Works well as part of an established management team but can also take ownership of their own responsibilities.
- Previous experience working for a PLC or volume housebuilder will be highly regarded.
