To support and contribute to the effective provision of a high-quality Occupational Health and Workforce Wellbeing Service as part of the Occupational Health & Wellbeing Service (WWS). The post-holder will have day-to-day responsibility for Occupational Health Clinics and a designated caseload and will be expected to provide employees with a comprehensive and confidential OH Service. WWS provides services to the staff of the Trust and to external organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting and managing the junior members of the team to achieve the agreed objectives for the service.
- Support the protection and promotion of the health and wellbeing of current and prospective employees, and those from contracted and other organisations as per Trust arrangements.
- Deliver OH clinical activity such as Pre-placement health clearance activity, and risk management & exposure related advice and intervention.
- Provide evidence-based opinion, intervention and guidance to Trust management and partner organisations to support their line and risk management responsibilities.
- Take responsibility for specific areas of occupational health service delivery and actively promote the work of the OH service.
- Support the OH Nurses, Clinic Nurses, and Administrative Staff, and others as appropriate.
