Working Hours:

37 hours per week. Must work between 10:00am and 4pm (start/end times are flexible as long as 7.5 hours are completed each day)

Pay rate:

Β£15.98 per hour

If you're the kind of person who enjoys being hands-on, following things through, and making sure standards are met-this is a fantastic opportunity to support housing services across Ministry of Defence properties. You'll spend your time visiting properties to check contractor work and then completing the day's admin back at base.

What you'll be doing:

  • Visiting Ministry of Defence properties to monitor that contractor work is completed to an acceptable standard
  • Checking property work and escalating if standards aren't being met
  • Carrying out occupant monitoring and management of non-SFA and SSFA within an allocated portfolio
  • Conducting handovers when requested to ensure families receive the required level of service
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement activities as needed (e.g., family or military engagement events)
  • Undertaking assurance checks on service levels and the quality of work provided by suppliers
  • Managing complaints (level 2) in a timely manner
  • Handling assurance activities for service delivery, including monitoring/validation/authorisation of time reliefs within approved limits
  • Keeping on top of an allocated case workload to agreed standards
  • Supporting delivery of additional services (including IRL/SONS/VOIDS) within delegation and timeframes
  • Being mindful of compliance, including inspections and mandatory training expectations
  • Ensuring safe lone working practices when required

What you'll bring:

  • A strong work ethic and a practical, conscientious approach to property and service standards
  • An understanding of property repairs and basic property-related knowledge (estate/property management background is helpful, but not essential)
  • Comfortable using Microsoft applications for day-to-day office tasks
  • Willingness to shadow other officers before going out on site independently
  • A
  • full UK driving licence is essential (fleet vehicles can be used if needed)
  • Physical fitness for visiting properties, including going up and down stairs
  • Commitment to compliance and safety expectations (including health and safety training.
