We are currently recruiting Agency Domiciliary Care Workers in Chepstow. The ideal candidate will be a driver with valid business insurance and access to their own vehicle. This is a rewarding opportunity to join our agency team, providing high-quality care and support to adults in their own homes, helping them to maintain independence, dignity, and a good quality of life.
Role Responsibilities
- Travel between clients’ homes using your own vehicle (business insurance required) as part of domiciliary care visits
- Deliver person-centred personal care and support with daily living activities in line with care plans
- Safely support moving and handling needs, including the use of equipment such as hoists where required
- Administer medication where trained and authorised
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and promote overall wellbeing
- Encourage independence while respecting choice, dignity, and privacy at all times
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months’ UK care or support experience
- Experience with moving and handling and use of equipment such as hoists
- A caring, reliable, and compassionate approach
- Flexibility to work varied agency shifts
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle and valid business insurance – essential
- SCW registration (if required for the role)
