Dean Close St.
John’s School are looking to appoint a 1:1 Learning support assistant to join our Learning Support team.
This is a part time role, working 10 hours per week during term time, 35 weeks per year.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils requiring additional academic support, delivering targeted one-to-one and small-group interventions that enable them to flourish academically and personally.
You will work in partnership with the Head of Learning Support and teaching staff to support pupils in overcoming barriers to learning, developing confidence, independence and resilience.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with children or young people, supporting them with their varying learning needs and implementing a personalised learning programme specifically for them.
