Smart Solutions is currently recruiting for a Sort Line Operative for our client based in Cheltenham depot (GL52).
Our client is transforming waste into valuable resources and lessening its impact on the environment.
As a Sort Line Operative, you will be responsible for the removal of recyclable material and non-recyclable materials from a moving conveyor safely and productively, ensuring that pick rate targets are achieved.
Responsibilities
- . Separating & placing materials for further recycling in the appropriate chute
- . Picking at defined rates, selective materials from a moving conveyor
- . General housekeeping and cleaning of machines & the operator cabins
- . Follow all site health and safety rules
- . Sorting recyclable materials on a conveyor belt
- . Removing contaminants
- . Keeping up with production targets
- . Maintaining a clean and safe work area
