Smart Solutions is currently recruiting for a Sort Line Operative for our client based in Cheltenham depot (GL52).

Our client is transforming waste into valuable resources and lessening its impact on the environment.

As a Sort Line Operative, you will be responsible for the removal of recyclable material and non-recyclable materials from a moving conveyor safely and productively, ensuring that pick rate targets are achieved.

Responsibilities

  • . Separating & placing materials for further recycling in the appropriate chute
  • . Picking at defined rates, selective materials from a moving conveyor
  • . General housekeeping and cleaning of machines & the operator cabins
  • . Follow all site health and safety rules
  • . Sorting recyclable materials on a conveyor belt
  • . Removing contaminants
  • . Keeping up with production targets
  • . Maintaining a clean and safe work area
  • . Working as part of a supportive team
