As a Senior Radiographer at our hospital, you'll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be registered with the HCPC, have a postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge.
Ideally, you'll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately.
As a Senior Radiographer, you will: See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload - in the department, on the ward and in theatre Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures Supervise and develop junior colleagues Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion Helping you feel good.
