Chelmsford City Council runs four leisure centres across the city of Chelmsford offering a wide range of sport and leisure activities. South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre is a multi-purpose sports centre and swimming pool, accommodating two sports halls, gym, activity room, tennis courts, outdoor 3G pitch & multi-use games area, serving the local community with a range of sport and leisure activities.

We are looking for friendly and approachable individuals to join our management team. The successful applicant must be adaptable, enjoy working with the public and ideally have a sound knowledge of sport. The post holder will be involved in maintaining the efficient and effective day-to-day running of the centre and ensuring the highest quality of service is offered to the customer.

Duty Managers will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the centre and will ensure the centre is well maintained, clean, safe and compliant with brand standards at all times, supporting every department and ensuring adequate staff coverage.

We are looking for casual duty managers to cover the opening hours of the centre, which are 6:00-22:00 weekdays and 7:00-20:00 at weekends.
